I did, but you cannot compare the two cards.
The option isn't there.

I have those same ATI cards in my two Dell Dimension desktops. I'm not a
gamer, but this might help you.

The 9600 seems likely to be the strongest. It's scores are about 15%
higher than the X300 in 2D scans at PC Pitstop.

I would suggest you to buy Nvidia 6600GT, PCI Express or AGP8x model which
depends on you motherboard.

You pretty well summed it up Ron.
However, if Phil's motherboard only has PCI Express slot he should be aware
of a major limitation- the wattage of his power supply. I opted for the ATI
300SE because I only have a 300 watt power supply in my system. Also the
higher end PCIex cards burn much hotter- think about system cooling. In my
case my MSI MB already has an ATI 200 PCIexpress chip integrated in it, the
separate video card freed up my RAM and CPU more and I maxed up my RAM to 2
GB dual channel memory. The video streaming is awesome!
