Hi

I am trying to get an Asus M5000 notebook to talk to the Air Station.

The notebook has an Intel PRO Wireless 2200 BG Network Connection and
a MAC Bridge Miniport Network Bridge built-in.

The Air Station is connected to a desktop PC ("Shuttle" ) which also
functions as a DHCP server. The Air Station has been setup with a
group called ABC. The desktop PC and notebook are part of the same XYZ
workgroup, and the notebook is set to receive an IP address
automatically. Other laptops with Buffalo PCMCIA wireless network
cards can access Shuttle normally and be seen as part of workgroup
XYZ.

The 2200 BG reports that it is connected to 060607ABC.
The Network Bridge also reports it is "connected" OK.

However the notebook does not get an IP address from Shuttle and can't
detect it or any other members of workgroup XYZ. This situation
applies even if all firewalls are disabled.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

thank you
jd
