I just upgraded to an A7N8X Deluxe, w/ 1Gig 333DDR. I did a fresh install of XP Pro. My internet connection (cable) is now slower than it was before. On top of that, I have another computer networked to this one, sharing this internet connection, which is just as fast as is was before. What really annoys me is that it's faster than than mine through which it connects. I'm dazed and confused. Help.

Ignorance is bliss, and i'm a happy guy!

you have the cable hooked up to the new computer and are sharing it to the other right?

my computer is so fast, it completes an endless loop in less than 4 seconds!

Yeah, via an external cable modem (SOHO) to a NIC by RJ 45.

You may want to test the settings on the new PC. speedguide.net has a TCP/IP analizer thats makes sure you are at optimum settings, and how to change stetting that are off. This may help :/
