Working to set up a remote assistance session on my home
lab. Got 2 PCs, one running XP home and the other XP
professonal. The goal is to learn how to use RA.
Have cable modem service and use a Linksys Router (model
BEFSR41 v2 EtherFast Cable/Fast Router with 10/100 4 port
Switch). The XP pro machine is behind another
Linksys Ethernet Fast 10/100 5 Port Workgroup Switch
(ModelEZXs55W version 3.0)
The PC's are not presently networked together, so the only
connection will be via the internet.
The closest to completing the RA is to invite user. No
error message,...just the Menu that states that the
invitation has been sent and the expert receives and accepts the invitation.
Have attempted to reconfigure router to port forward 3389
with no success. Attempted both static and Dynamic IP.

Thanks
PK
