Interesting.. There's javascript that purposely removes the scroll bars
on the right. Why would you want to do that?

We don't. We're using a web blogging software called WordPress. I'll
have our web team look into this issue.

Could you post the computer you are using? CPU, OS, browser etc?

Thanx,

Greetings Gary,

The page "http://www.videoguys.com/blog/" appears to be loaded with
Javascripting errors. Here's the details...

PC running WindowsXP:

Netscape 7.2 - No scrolling bars appear on the right.

Internet Explorer 6. - Scrolling bars appear, however I get an error
window appear saying there is a problem on Line: 37 in the script.

Mozilla 1.7.2 - Same, No Scrolling bars on the right side.

---
Mac running OSX 10.3.5:

Netscape 7.1 - No scrolling bars appear on the right.

Safari 1.2.3 - Also.. No scrolling bars appear on the right.

---

Hope this helps you get all those problems out.

Take it easy.
-Richard

I am far from an expert html coder. However, scrolling is usually
controlled by style sheets, not Javascript. The scroll bars appear on
Firefox and IE 6 on my XP box.

An inspection by the Firefox Javascript inspector indicates an error
on line 36. This relates to an empty attribute for an ad rotator. It
is possible that this is not inadvertant.

Style sheets have nothing to do with the the DOM otherwise known as the
Document Object Model. Style sheets are for defining the layout for your
page content.

Javascript can be used (or misused) to control your document
information, such as windows popups, window resizes, status bars, and in
this case, scroll bars on the page.

A great place to learn more about HTML, and Javascript is at
w3schools.com website.

Hope this helps.

Maybe you've fixed it, but I am using Mozilla Firefox on Windows XP Home and
get no problems with the page at all. Nor do I get problems with I.E.
6.0.2800.1106.

Both have scroll bars on the right and both scroll down to the bottom of the
page on my machine.

Gary
