Everytime I try and use a USB imaging device (scanner or digital camera), I get the blue screen of death. I've tracked it down to the windows program "stimon.exe". It causes the errors right away when windows boots. Here's my setup...

AMD - 1.1ghz,
Asus A7V
256 MB,
GeForce 2 Ultra,
Sound Blaster Live value II

Anyone know how I can fix this problem????

Heya Guy. The STIMON.exe is from HP goto their site and look up your scanner under support. Theres probably something in there under the Frequently Asked Questions about it. I know when I was tech support some Items had problems working on the same USB. So you had to disable in startup one of those programs. I can't remember quite which one. Hope this help ya.
