I've been reading here to determine what type of phone to get to
replace my startac. Looks like the V265 with two year plan would be
pretty inexpensive. I've read problems with it not doing a disconnect
when it closes but I could deal with that -- I think I'm in the habit
of pushing a button before I close the phone anyway, or could build up
the little plastic nub to make it happen.

camera quality isn't too important. I often carry an almost 5 year
old Canon S100 2M camera and that suits my needs (although a brighter
flash would be better -- waiting a couple more years to see what new
display (OLED) technology will do for digicams and then I'll upgrade).

How about accessories for the v265. I would like a second battery,
second car charger and some way to get info from computer in and out
of phone. What is the cost of this compared to the other
inexpensive flip phone LG VX4500?

I have used the V265 for a few months and have never had a disconnect
problem.
