I'm getting this error message at bootup.
"The applacation or DLL C:\ WINNET\SYSTEM32\ATL.DLL is not a valid Windows image.Please check this against your installation diskette."
What does this mean and how do I fix it??
Stick and crayon instructions please,not a computer gru...:)

First off, what OS are you using? And what are your system specs?

For starters, you could try booting from your windows installation CD and doing a repair install.

Another thing you can try is testing your memory. Go <A HREF="http://www.memtest86.com/" target="_new">here</A> and download memtest86, follow the instructions to make it a bootable floppy, and reboot with the disk in the drive. Do this with one stick of RAM at a time for best resulst.
