Being a former Windows junkie... my first concern after migrating to Mandrake 10 was security. Normally with windows, the first install after the OS was a desktop firewall like ZoneAlarm and a virus protection software. Should I be concerned about these things with Linux? If so, please suggest some solid but simple gui based solutions.
You don't really need to worry about viruses with linux. There should be some kind of a built in firewall config tool in drakconfig somewhere. At least I remember there being one.
