“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” premiers this weekend at France’s Cannes Film Festival and will open nationwide this Thursday. But the long-awaited film is shrouded in uncertainty, mystery and even doubt.

Ditto.

I've been watching the first three non-stop over the last week, since alot of channels are running Indy marathons. And yes, I still think Temple of Doom is better than the Last Crusade.

Short Round rules.

I'm glad they excluded digital filming and didn't put much CGI in... I've always wanted a film company to do that.

Yeah, CGI isn't appropriate for Indiana Jones movies, because it would ruin the atmosphere.

As long as Harrison Ford continues to play the role, I'll keep enjoying Indiana Jones. Raiders is probably my favorite movie ever, and I doubt I'll be disappointed by Crystal Skull. Even if it ends up being the worst of the series, I'll probably still like it. Most people are never happy with anything and they'll be mad if it's too much like the old movies and they'll be mad if it's too different. Anyone who expects the movie to be a masterpiece doesn't understand the series. The movies are meant to be thrill rides. It's the same with the new Star Wars movies. A lot of people hated them and said the acting was horrible as if the original trilogy was so much better. I like the new Star Wars movies as well (even though that little kid is annoying). I'm going to see Indiana Jones tonight at an advance screening.
