hey i was fooling around with one of my old fido sim cards, and i puk locked
the card does anyone know the puk code for these cards? i tryed contacting
fido but there being real dicks about it and wont tell me anything. i have a
card reader writer and can only access the card if i unlock it, if anyone
know the code or knows of a way to hack the card im all ears. the code on
the back of the card is

89302370105217538126M32.a

As I recall, the PUK is a phone code, not a SIM code. You really need FIDO to
give it to you if they are the ones who sold you the phone.

If the SIM does not belong to you they will not give you the PUK
code. If you are the legitimate owner of the account they will give
you the PUK. If you aren't they of course will not. They're not
being "dicks" about it. It's called security! That's why some people
put PINs on their SIMs.

its my sim from 4 years ago i found it, for some reason now it has different
phone numbers programmed into it, so i started playing around with it, just
thought id see if anyone on this forum actually knew anything about this.
and the PUK code is on the SIM. i called fido but i forgot my old number and
im sure someone else has it by now and they said they need it to give me the
code, so dont assume things..

I'm not sure why they won't give it to you if you own the phone/SIM/account?
I called them a few years ago when I incorrectly entered my SIM PIN
incorrectly a few times and they gave it to me.

I did that too just ahh... 5days ago. And I called fido and they were okay not that nice about it but I totally understand. I fogot my code and kept trying (stupid idea) then it said I needed the PUK code. So I called up Fido and the account wasn't under my name. It was under a family member who happens to be away for a month and so I can't do anything but wait for that person to come back and call in for me. But its only been a week, and I'm already going crazy without my cell. And I thought I was the only one who did this haha
