Just trying to finish up a new computer. Any input as to which one i should choose would be great. They all looked the same to me except i guess BFG is OC'ed a bit and it came with FarCry. It appears now that newegg is shipping a free farcry DVD with the purchase of AMD64 and motherboard so the game isnt a bonus anymore. Here are the choices:

GIGA-BYTE nVIDIA GeForce 6800 Video Card, 128MB DDR, 256-Bit, TV-Out/DVI, 8X AGP, Model "GV-N68128DH" -RETAIL

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProd [...] 142&depa=1

 MSI nVIDIA GeForce 6800 Video Card, 128MB DDR, 256-Bit, TV-Out/DVI, 8X AGP, Model"NX6800-TD128" -RETAIL

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProd [...] 135&depa=1

BFG nVIDIA GeForce 6800 Video Card, 128MB DDR, 256-Bit, TV-Out/DVI, 8X AGP, Model "BFGR6800OC" -RETAIL

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProd [...] 020&depa=1

Thanks again for any help in choosing.

Did you read the buyers guide?

Buyers Guide??  Why would anyone read that when its so much easier to post a "I'm scared and lost and don't know which graphics card I should buy!!!" like everyone else and just wait for the answers to roll into their mailbox.

XP2800+, Abit NF7, 1GB Dual-Channel DDR333, ATI R9800PRO 128MB, TT PurePower 420W, LG DVD+-R/RW

The buyer's guide may not answer his question though-  There is a section about the different vendors, but it's fairly general information.  BFG, Giga-Byte, and MSI are all good companies, so he probably wants to see if anyone here has an idea of which one is the best bang/buck, especially since the 6800NU is a popular card.

Yes, I did read the buyers guide and as the last poster said it wasnt all that informative about specific cards from different vendors.
So, if any non smart ass people (or even smart ass people with good info) have something informative to add please do. Thanks again for any help.

Hah!  The MSI 6800 looks just like a X800 card.

I would say that if you can afford it, you might want to consider going with the more future-proof 6800GT, which will set you back about another $100.  Otherwise, definitely go with the BFG as it will perform better, has an awesome warranty, looks neat, and Newegg has that nice rebate.

Thanks for the replies all. At this point Im going with the BFG. Right now at newegg there is a 20 dollar rebate with it so the price is a little better than the others as well. Thanks again to all who replied and anyone else who wants to chime in with their experiences with any of those cards.
