Unfortunately, I have no phone line in my office space. And I need to send
faxes every once in a while.

I have a Motorola V551 cellphone with Bluetooth, and it offers the
capability of "Fax Forwarding", among its two or three "fax" functions.
AFAIK, the phone itself has no real modem on it (hard or soft), but the
folks at Cingular were kind ($$) enough to provision me with a CSD
(Circuit-Switched Data) phone number.

I have a Bluetooth-capable laptop with WinXP Pro. I think I should be able
to use something like the fax "printer" in XP to send faxes to this CSD
number from MS Word. Unfortunately, I don't know how to set things up to do
that. I wasted a lot of time with the Bluetooth Setup Wizard in XP trying
to install a "Bluetooth Fax" before coming to the conclusion that I was
barking up the wrong tree, since the CSD modem itself is located off-site
somewhere in a Cingular service center. Perhaps the setup is more analogous
to a dialup ISP?

Can anyone help me perform this configuration?

The fax program in Windows XP only works with a dedicated
fax modem and a telephone line connected to it.

Well, my understanding is that the CSD phone number they "provisioned" me
with is just that: a dedicated fax modem with a telephone line connected to
it.

On one of the capabilities of the XP Bluetooth stack is that it is capable
of emulating an RS-232 connection, not so? I have a Bluetooth COM6, for
example.

I also have a "Bluetooth modem" among the devices visible in the XP Device
Manager and offered for installation by the Bluetooth Setup Wizard.

I have a Bluetooth enabled cell phone that also enables me to surf the
Internet, as well as move MP3 files back and forth from PC to phone. It has
controls for "Talk-Then-Fax", "Fax Forwarding" and "Data Call Forwarding".

I have the phone number of a fax-modem router.

But I can't send a fax?
