 Thread : Sprint sucks indeed

Anyone know when sprint will fix the network problem where the network rings instead of your phone? To explain further, this means that instead of the caller hearing the ring when your PHONE rings, they hear a ring that Sprint makes up - so if you have your phone off, or are in a no-reception area, it'll ring and ring, making the person think that your phone is actualyl still active when it really isn't - not good when people start thinking you're avoiding them, when in reality it's just the network. And to make things worse, SPrint's voicemail is already bad in the sense that it only comes on after FIVE rings instead of four with regular cell phones, plus if your phone is off\no reception, then it'll just keep ringing about 10 times until the voicemail comes on - where the freak is spirnt's logic here??? I have Cingular (I decided not to switch to SPrint for these other problems, including them not having any good phones for my needs), which if it can't find your phone (like if it's off or in a no reception area) won't even ring and will go straight to voicemail - plus when it does ring the caller hears the ring ONLY when the actual cell phone is ringing. WIll Sprint EVER fix their network and all these problems? Its as if no one seems to mind though. Quite frustrating. Anyone else with me?

Why don't ya talk to Sprint about it? I'm with AT&T for 3 years, have bestest coverage and everything works well. Tried Verizon, disconnects all the time, same spot: AT&T=roaming:small antenna, Verizon=Digital: full antenna, AT&T can talk all I want, Verizon drops in the midle of conversation, call Verizon: "we have the best coverage". GO figure.

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...
