hey i'd really like to make sure i do this correctly. i
have microsoft ms-500 router that i don't really use right
now. i recently got a linksys 54 g router, so that one is
running my network. i also have a linksys wireless access
point, but i don't know how to use that yet. but anyway,
here's what i want to do: i want to connect my playstation
2 to the mn-500 down in my room. then i want mn-500 to
wirelessly bridge to my linksys router, so my PS2 is, in
effect, made wireless. can anyone tell me how to do this
correctly?

Microsoft's base stations cannot wirelessly bridge. You need to connect the
MN-500 in access mode with an Ethernet cable to the router.

ok thanks. is there some way i could somehow wirelessly
connect my playstation to the linksys? i mean, short of
buying new equipment, like the linksys WGA54G. could my
linksys access point be implemented into that some way, or
should i consult linksys website for that?

You might want to check the Playstation web site. I know there are
networking device/adapters specifically for PS, but they'd be better able to
offer guidance on the site. You could also check this information, on a
quick search using Google:

Enjoy it. (I think you'd like Xbox better, though.) 8-)
