I have an M15x that I dropped. Now the stock gt240m video card only displays a white screen but it does still load windows. I bought a gtx 280m to replace it but when i try to start it with the 280m in I get nothing. It powers on but no video and it doesn't load to windows. I sent the 240m out for repair. I don't know if i'm just missing a step for installing the 280m.
