My Inspiron Mini 10 is having a wierd problem. When started up everything is good, then within a minute it is like the light turns off? I can see everything on the screen with a flashlight shined into screen so I would'nt say I have a "BLACK" screen. Any ideas on this one? Thanx Tom

It is the inverter or backlight of your LCD.

the part itself is not expensive (normally ~$50 for an inverter)
but i can take some time to change it over. (depending on laptop model 30mins - 2 hours)

i would get a quote from a local PC Repair shop to see if its worth trying yourself.
