Hi there, I have a LG R405-s.cpeet notebook pc, somehow the graphics card which was manufactured by Nvidia damaged. The technical service, after a long while, claimed that they could have only found an ATI graphics card which is compatible with another version of R405. But the operating system detects it as a standart VGA graphics adapter. How can I detect it properly and then install the correct driver?

Using google, I found this: Drivers for notebook LG R405-S.CPEET.

This is not an LG site. It says you have a NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS. It does not say what version of Windows they are for. There may not be any Win 7 drivers, and you would need to find Vista drivers.
