Logitech G110 / Switching sound from headphones to stereo

Hello, I just purchased a Logitech G110 Keyboard and I have a couple questions. In combination to this keyboard I am also using the Turtle Beach X12 Headphones. They are USB powered. I have them connected through the USB and audio/mic ports on the keyboard. My question is how I can keep the headphones plugged in but be able to switch to my stereos audio. In order to do this I have to unplug the headphones. On the keyboard there is a button for both the headphone and mic to disable it. The buttons work but it does not switch the audio to my stereo. Sorry this may be confusing. Thanks.
