Ok, let me start by telling you I dont use a desk, my gaming system is on a desk but i have a recliner that i sit in, and I use the arm of the recliner for a mouse area, works well and is very comfortable. My issue is i am wanting a gaming mouse with 9 or more programable buttons, I have tried laser mice, and they tend to have trouble tracking on the arm of the chair, I think due to the curve, optical mice have worked very well for me thus far, I just can never seem to find them with more than 6-7 buttons and 2 of those are usually dpi switchers.

Any suggestions? I would use laser if I could get one that would work on this surface, or if I found a way to mod the surface to work with the laser.
