I have the Microsoft Wireless G Router. I lose connection
to the internet every few minutes. It just drops the
connection. It re-starts, and I am not always aware that
it has done so, but I have noticed that if I am listening
to streaming music, there will be a long pause.
This happens whether i am attached wirelessly, or via
cable. Any ideas?

I checked that 802.11x authentication was disabled. I am
stumped.

what kind of modem are you connected to - brand and model number - and
who is your ISP. whatever you are connecting to is already a private
class IP range (NAT) and you've got double NAT going on here which is
a bad situation. are you actually plugged into another router or modem
that is part of an all in one device that acts as a router?

817463 MSBBN: HOW TO: Configure a Wireless Access Point

817461 MSBBN: How to Set up a USB Satellite Connection to Use Internet
Connection Sharing

In the second article just ignore the section titled "Setup Internet
Connection Sharing on the Computer with the Satellite Connection" & you
should be set.

That will make it so that you are no longer using NAT behind NAT.
Something you never should do.

I am connected to a wireless bridge. I have pplbroadband.
www.pplbroadband.com , which is Broadband Over Power
line. Prior to that I had a one way cable modem. Believe
it or not, this works better, at least when it IS
connected, it is fast.

On my MSBBN i have the lease time set to 2 weeks, so I
don't know why it is re-setting every two hours.

The lease time setting *you* are modifying is for the LAN side.

Based on your log, whereever the DHCP server is on the WAN side of the
router is (presumably your ISP) gives you leases of two hours.

What you are seeing is normal (wrt to DHCP lease times).
