I have problems with setting up my ICS between 2 computers in my house, one with Win 2k and one with Win ME. I used to have them both running on Win ME and it worked perfectly. Since installing Win 2k, I haven't got a clue on how it works, as well as viewing his computer from my computer and vice versa. The computers can't seem to detect each other. Please help me out.

Also, in my control panel, I can't execute the Add/Remove Programs function. Is it true that this problem may be related to installation of IE 5.5? Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I think you should be abel to create a Networking Setup Disk from the server computer. Run the program on the disk on the client computer and it should be resolved.

Just a suggestion but as ICS is frequently a piece of (peep) if you can afford 60 or 70 bux invest in a linksys, netgear or D-link or similar 4 port router .. I do this and it acts as a firewall as well as set up for sharing my cable modem and running a lan through it

I agree, ICS slows down net access on the client machines and requires more CPU time on the server. Get the 4-port Linksys router, I can only say good things about it ever since I moved up from a cheap 10mbps Linksys hub that connected my 3 PCs.

AMD technology + Intel technology = Intel/AMD Pentathlon IV; the ULTIMATE PC processor

I am using Sygate too. It works great.
