Hello,
trouble is ive tried 2 or 3 diff p/supps but the dell p.s ive got now has 2 braided cores and 1 fine plastic inner core.the 2 braided cores output 19v but the inner core when touched with one or the thers gives 10v.can anyone shed some lite n this for me pls

I think you skipped the first part of your question. What is the issue and what you are trying to do? If you can't find a power supply that works with your laptop, get one from the vendor, or at least a knock-off made for the model you have.
