Toshiba z835

Please Please I need review, from who have already bought the toshiba z835. someone already purchased this computer???

My suggestion is to go for
1. Dell XPS 13 to be out by Feb 2012.

2. If you can't wait, go for HP Folio, must better built than Toshiba z835/ or the sad sad Asia Model that comes without a backlit keyboard.

3. Lenovo U300 / U400

4. Asus Zenbook UX31E, definately a better quality product and cheaper than Toshiba !

100-400g lighter is not much.

The support with Toshiba here in Malaysia is horrible, since it's left to a master distributor to monopolize the market.

Option 1
Go for a product where the manufacturer interacts with the customer directly. No matter how bad it is, on the worst case scenario, they will acknowledge their touble to you for their flaws and give you a one-to-one replacement.

Option 2
If you buy a product that is thru a distributor, you will end-up getting delayed, thrown with red-tapes, paper-work, let you visit their service centre, hold up your machine to be checked for 3-4 days, wait for parts for another week....and the list goes on.

You can pick option 2, if this new machine you are buying is not mission critical, not your work laptop, you have alot of free time to wait, alot of extra cash, and love to visit the service centre then pick option 2.

This is my personal experience with IT product that are left to master distributors in Malaysia.

Take your time to review carefully. MOST Online Reviews only say what the manufacturers or distributors want them to publish.
