Forum Systems : Gateway Fx6801 sound cards

Sound goes to full volume and cannot be changed. Sometimes, after booting, it works and sometimes it doesn't. No new drivers available. Am thinking of going to sound card, not Creative but some other one.

Is creative apart of Sound Blaster...?

I hear there pretty good. I Built a DJ custom build a while back and he wanted a Sound Blaster sound card because apparently their pretty top's.

Tried to install new sound card but doesn't fit slot. My sound problems seem to take place when I use the scroll wheel on my mouse. Won't do that anymore and probs seem to be solvedllllllllllldg
