i have a digital recorder - model SVR-S200 -bought years ago with my dragon speaking software but cannot find the USB lead for it or the instructions. Could you please let me have the details so I can purchase a new lead ( I have several but the connection is a tiny one and I am not confident I would buy the correct one) and possibly can use it with my software.
Many thanks
Wendy

Hi Wendy

I'm in a similar position.
I would appreciate any advice regarding the source of this USB cable.
What I may try to do is transfer the sound recording via the headphone jack [on the recorded] into the 'in' jack of the PC.

I'm happy to share my experience but welcome all comments.

Jim

Hi Wendy
I've resorted to feeding the recorded message in via a 3.5 mm mono audio plug/cable headphones [out] from the recorder and line in - into the PC.

Not the most efficient - as the time to transfer the words equals the duration of the dictated file - however it's a start.
I tried purchasing another recorder - but found that when i tried transfering the file I got an error message '(wav) file incorrect format - must be 11~99 Khz 16 bit mono' the recorder I got is an olympus VN6800C - very good recorder but is 200Khz + .

Hope this helps.

If I feel inclined - I may try openning up the recorder & changing the connector from the SIM proprietary to a conventional micro USB.....we'll see.
