Hello
My system clock keeps stopping every time I turn off my computer.
It worked perfectly up until 7 days ago
Anybody got an idea how to fix.

Thank You

Normal solution is to replace the button cell on your motherboard.

Button cell is the watch battery that looks like a coin.

Most newer systems use a CR2032 battery or such.
Funny thing is, that is the same battery that is in the remote keyless entry
fob for my car.
Available at my GM dealer and even the jewelry counter at Wal-Mart.

Mine uses a CR2032. Radio Shack#: 23-162

I had to replace the cmos battery a couple of years ago on my old machine
that I gave to my folks. I had a heck of a time finding one. I had to
unsolder it and solder it back in.

Remember those root beer barrels candy? It looked just like one, about the
same size only it was green and had a lead out of each end.

Wait, a picture of one here, 3.6V CMOS Batteries...

I couldn't find a decent picture of
Root Beer Barrel Candy
http://www.caneandreed.com/eshop/Catalog/1682.htm

But I went down memory lane seeing all the old candy that I thought was long
gone.

Pixy Stix, Atomic Fireball, candy necklace, root beer barrel, candy
cigarettes, Boston Baked Beans, Teaberry gum, Pez Dispenser, Necco Wafers,
Chiclets Gum
http://www.saraironman.com/sweetmemories/order.html

Man Necco Wafers, I really liked the black ones, Pez Dispensers? <LOL>
http://www.saraironman.com/sweetmemories/index.html

I wonder if they still have those wax lips? <ROTFL>

Yepper!

Caramel Creams (Bull's Eyes), Bit-O-Honey, Starburst, SweeTarts, Mike and
Ike, Hot Tamales, even Whoppers malted milk balls, Hot Dog Bubble Gum, Anise
Squares, Good and Plenty, even Nik-L-Nips (Wax Bottles), Wax Fangs. I have
to get out more, this place is COOL!
