I have a canon powershot SD1300 IS. I mistakenly clicked on the date button, and now would like to remove them before I download the pictures to a dvd. How do you do that?

Welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums!

By activating the date option, the date is now part of the digital picture and cannot be removed.

After you download the pictures, you can use Photoshop or some similar editing program (GIMP?) to erase the date.
