How to connect a laptop to a pc using a wireless router

My desktop pc is using lan to connect to the internet from a wireless router, my laptop uses the wifi on the same router to connect to the internet, can i create a network using the router, if yes, how do i do it and as simple as it can get please thanks in advance........

Basically, enable file sharing on appropriate folders , turn off firewalls while setting up, make an accurate note of the computers' names(Control Panel, System, Computer Name). Run the Networking Wizard, go to My Network Places, Add New Network Place.
