Hello,
Is there a TV (22" - 32" ) that I can us my architectural/mechanical (AutoCAD program) that is on my CPU to design architectural/mechanical drawings (AutoCAD program) and to be used for regular usage such as for cable, Netflix, etc….???

Instead of using the TV as a monitor, try using the monitor as a TV. For this you will need a capture device. Can be an internal card or an external device. Here is and External device that will do the job - http://www.hauppauge.com/site/prod [...] r1950.html

Stay away from the USB plug-in types - they don't work very well.

Thank you so much!!! I think Ill go with the external device. Looks like the safe and easy way to go.

? Is there any spec's that I need to know before buying the monitor, like the TV's at the stores that have 1200p for better/crisp and quality watching? HD???? Not sure if I'm using the correct terms, but I hope you'll know what I'm talking about.

I'm one of those people that has let technology pass me up, due to being stubborn. There's a lot out there, but I'm getting there... with help that is. LOL

Yes, you will be happy with the external capture device such as HVR-1950. You can move this from computer to computer if desired.

As far as a monitor is concerned, I use a 19" on my XP computer and a 22" on my i7 computer. Both Dell refurbished. Working well.
