A friend wants to sell this to me, how much is it worth now a days? Froogle has it for around ~160, but that's probably a bit inflated right?

I wouldn't touch it.

For $200 you can buy a 22" LCD monitor brand new and it comes with a 3 year warranty. The Hanns·G Hi-221DPB Black 22" may not be the best 22" LCD monitor, but it just goes to show you that if you look around you can find good deals if you are on a budget.
