i'm just going to buy a laptop dell xps 17 i just want to know is it best for photoshop cs4, illustrator cs4 or 3d maya software with hd gaming or not.....

Don't know it's it's "best" but it's certainly good for those tasks. And it depends on the options, if you max out the video card, get 8+ gig of RAM with an i7 CPU, will be a very nice system.
