Hello,
i am hooking my acer netbook to my vizio lcd flat screen tv using vgr connection on-both great picture on tv screen no sound

What is the model number to the netbook and tv?

I know on my G/f's computer. Right beside the VGA port their was a Input headphon Jack.. I plugged one of those chords in the microphone port on the laptop and the other end in there and problem solved.
