Is anyone else having a problem with Docs to Go 7? Since I updated to
Office 2004 (Mac), I can't hot sync without the process stopping
completely when it gets to the DtG conduit. Today I called tech support
and spoke with a very nice fellow, but he's as puzzled as I am. He's had
me go as far as doing a hard reset and reinstalling *only* DtG, all with
no success. Any ideas?

Sandy,

Could be that one of your documents is corrupt. Try removing them all from the
Palm. Then add them one at a time to the DTG software on the Mac. Then sync
again. That should help. That version of Office works with a setup here just
fine.

Thanks, Dave. Unfortunately, I've done all of that, as well as making up
a one-line test spreadsheet. I've even done a hard reset and reinstalled
*only* DtG -- all with no luck. Now I've put everything back on my Palm
except DtG and am thinking that I'm just out of luck. :(

Are you able to create documents on the Palm that will sync back to your
Mac?

One last thought. This requires Appleworks, which comes for free on
your Mac. Create a spreadsheet and/or word processing document with
Appleworks and then do a Save As... choose an older version of Excel or
Word, say Win2000. Not sure what you do if any of this works, or even
what it means. Perhaps just more information for the techies at DTG.
Bummer that you are having this trouble...

Regards,

-Doug

Thanks, Doug. After doing a hard reset (it was an experiment recommended
by the DataViz techie -- a very nice fellow) to see if it would help, I
can't even reinstall DtG. :( I've had to send for a refund. Anyone know
if there's another app out there that will work with the Mac version of
Excel to put stuff onto the Palm?
