I need a new game-mouse and wanna know if you all have any experience with the following mouses.

1. Logitech G9
2. Logitech G5
3. Razer Diamondback 3G
4. Razer DeathAdder
5. Razer Copperhead

I'm also looking for a new mouse so I hope help comes soon. I'm a Logitech man looking to buy a new backup mouse for my 4.5 year old MX500. No problems with this yet, only thing was the left button stopped responding. But I took it apart and fixed it and it's as good as new!

I would buy another MX500 in a second, if they still made them. Maybe the 518? Ugly as hell, but good reviews.

I started a thread in the PC Gaming section and got a lot of people in favour of the G9 and the G5. I asked why the G9 over the G5, but haven't heard back yet. I would always buy a Logitech, I don't really trust those Razer's. Don't know why, maybe I'm a fanboy and I can't admit it??

I have both the g5 and g9. I prefer the g5, the g9 has a bunch of features I never use, the scroll wheel isn't as good as the mx revolution, and it doesn't feel as good.

The g9 does look a lot cooler than the g5.
