my desktop icons refuses to work,click on an icon t drops down a window to say click here to go on the internet to open the folder-icon.So what got clicked to stop the desktop icons from working???een here 3 weeks trying to get a responjse or resolve.Thanks for responding the resolve.
Have you got an antivirus program?
Is the operating system XP or Win 7?

well now for the 7th time, YES THIS IS WINDOES XP, AND HAVE AN ANTI VIRUS IN USE.HOW ABOUT TRYING, TO ANSWETR THE QUESTION ABOUT THOSE DESK TOP ICONS THAT REFUSE TO WORK OR STOP THIOS CONSTAND REPEATING YOURSELF rENOD????>
Here is the issue with what you are doing. You start a new post, which means a new reply, probably from a new person. If you don't want to have anyone ask you questions, stop posting and use the original post you started. So go back 7 posts and look at the original one. Plus no-one here is required to get you an answer if they can't think of what the issue may be or if they happen to just not feel like typing. You want a solution quick, head down to a computer shop, give them a $100 and they will be happy to work on the computer for you.

Well then, had the question been responded to the first time, the issue would have been over then,so if you cant be responsable to answer the issue then no need getting testy with me ,yiou have no idea who I am nor what I am capapble of.However I know what you do best.So if you cant provide a response then get off line, so some one with knowledge can.Your smart mouth is obvous are there any other traits we need to be aware of,with you?.The idea here is to offer a proper response,at some point.

Well we know you are not capable of using the internet properly nor your PC. Why would anyone care what you are capable of? Maybe you can put your foot way over the top of your head? Uncanny ability to coordinate socks and shoes?
I was pointing out the fact that you can't expect to start new topics and think that we'll automatically know everything you already said in a previous one. And then you proceed to be rude to the moderator asking for clarification.
