I have some "dead" pixels (bunched together in two different spots) on my monitor, although they don't really appear to be dead per say. On a white background, under a magnifying glass, they look like they're bleeding, only half or so of the pixels are grey and the rest are white.

It could be a stuck sub pixel, but then it would look cyan, yellow, or magenta, not gray.

It's definitely not dirt on the screen itself, but I guess it could be on the inside. The room it's in is very dusty, no matter how clean I try to keep it. Thanks for the tip. |
