One application appears on task bar as two what can I do?

Im facing the problem with taskbar. Actually, I've added the language bar and check the quick launch by right click on taskbar than the problem got started. I want these to be appear on taskbar. But the problem is that my task bar is divided or separated in to two panes and if I open any file, folder or application same appears in second pane which is irritable for me. kindly do sumthing.

Is the taksbar double-height? Sounds like you dragged the bar up by dragging it. Move the mouse to the top of it so it looks like arrows, and drag it back down to one. Since you added the Quick Launch tool bar you are leaving less space for applications to be listed there, they will end up compressing more.
