More Information

I have an older 24inch Dell Ultrasharp and its amazing. I wanted to get another ultrasharp but in the 22inch range for my other pc. I guess Dell has changed the hardware for their new ultrasharps. They should be called Ultracrap now. If you are not looking dead center at this LCD the image changes colors. Move your head a few inches off center and your screen will look like like a rainbow of color. Whatever they did to the ultrasharp, its now ultracrap. Stay away from them. I am sending mine back. They must be putting cheaper displays in to save money because my 24inch ultrasharp is excellent.

Well after further reading I guess there really is nothing I can get in the 22inch size to compare with my 24inch ultrasharp. I guess they are using cheap TN panels and my ultrasharp 24 uses a better panel. From what I read in the forums there are no 22inch non TN panels that are easy to find and have reviews. If I return this thing and buy another 22inch its going to be the same issue of viewing angle so looks like I will keep this. Damn TN panels!

Well, there are 2 consumer lever non TN 22'' monitors I know of; an Eizo and a Lenovo. They are on the expensive side as you may expect, but they are worth it since they are MVAs. There are also some professionally geared S-IPS 22'' such as a $5000 Eizo but that' s not really relevant I guess.
