Fairly simple question really.

What is the best Gaming mouse out there on the market?

And for that matter, what makes a good gaming mouse?

Obviously wired is better, but which one?

The Logitech G9 looks good, but how does it compare with those of Razer such as the Krait?

Any suggestions? And are all the extra butons really worth it?

I like my Razer Lachesis.

Variable DPI is a huge plus (especially in FPS when sniping, etc.), different profiles, plenty of buttons (I think 7 or 9), and it's not a purely right-handed mouse. This is probably the biggest pro for me since I'm left-handed and just about every gaming mouse is made for right-handed people.

I like my Lachesis though. Haven't really messed with many other mice.
