Thread : Driver for Gateway FPD2485W?

I got the 2485W for Christmas, but it was the floor model, so it did not come with any discs. Is there a driver for this to use under VISTA? It lists my monitor as 'Generic PnP Monitor'. Is that a problem? I'd really like to have it display correctly.

Unless the monitor pivots you do not need drivers for Vista. --------------- Q9450 |Corsair XMS 4GB DDR 800 | ABit IP35 Pro | X1900XT 512MB | Audigy 2 | Seasonic S12 550 | Cooler Master Centurion 532 | NEC LCD2690WUXi | WinXP There is no such thing as a stupid question. It pivots... EZtune is supposed to do that... but apparently doesn't work with the latest NVIDIA drivers. --------------- Q6600 G0 @ 3.5GHZ | GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L | ANTEC P182 | XFX 8800GTS (G92) 512MB | THERMALRIGHT 120 ULTRA EXTREME | CORSAIR 520HX | PATRIOT EXTREME 4GB (2 X 2GB) DDR2 800 | SEAGATE 7200.10 | SAMSUNG SH-S203N | VISTA 64 HOME PREMIUM |

No drivers should really be needed. If everything seems to be working, I wouldn't worry about it. |
