I just bought an HP Scanjet G2410 and I really don't know whether should I turn it off when not using it or just leave it on. At my old work we had 3 scanners - 2 of them were HP Scanjets and these things broke so easily. One of them died while scanning at 2400 dpi.
So as I am concerned of not braking my scanner - any ideas, experience knowledge, expert technicians, occasional HP officials here?
