I have an old sony reciever that I would like to use with my powerd Klipsch speakers. The klipsch speakers are origionally for my computer and they dont have a built in digital decoder. Thats where the sony comes in. The problem that Im having is that the klipsch speakers are powerd already and there are three miny jack inputs on the control box. The sony doesnt have any preamp outs that would be in 5.1. Is it possible to take the amp out of the reciever and still have a preamp signal and the decoder work? I hope this makes sense I tried to explain it the best I could.
