hey, well i'al at the final year and i'am preparing my final project study.always i use my pc ,so i wan't to protect my pc's system against the interference of my little brother without to prohibit him to open the windows session
I thought deep freeze but did not work .....

you can always make a backup of your important files on dvd's or better get a portable hd.

you have to use administrator user. and make another for private user and give u permission for this user.
and this user you don't give all permission.
so , that time your machine working as good condition.and protect your system through this information.
