Im running Windows Vista x64 and Ive downloaded the latest drivers from creative's website, however I cant get 5.1 surround sound to work. Ive also tried using daniel k drivers and they still wont work. I can use the sound configuration in control panel to successfully play 5.1 on the test but i still dont have 5.1 when I play music.

NVM I found out that creative doesn't support 5.1 surround sound on vista. They do that so you'll buy a new sound card from them. I am really disappointed with creative. They stop people from making better sound drivers for their sound card, they made a sound that that supposedly has X-FI but doesn't, and they don't keep up with their drivers!

If you dont believe me read the reviews on this card. My friend got one and the chip isn't even really a real X-Fi chip.
