By self-upgradeable, I mean going to like newegg.com buy a vid card or somethin and then just swap it and having it work. Just wondering if the Dell motherboard allows switching of components.

Dell doesn't do very many proprietary parts... if it has a pci-e slot you can put any video card in there provided it fits in the case and you have enough power to power it.
