Hi everyone, i'm new here so hopefully i'm in the right place and you can help me... I have a Toshiba D2 projector and it was working last night. Today I went to turn it on and it started up, a brief (1 second worth) of light came through the lens and then the lamp seems to have shut off. The lamp light on the unit turns red. The lamp only has 1000 hours on it. It was not dim last night or anything. I tried popping the lamp out and refitting it but nothing different.
Sounds like either a bad lamp or the power supply. Since you refitted the lamp I assume it looked ok. You will probably need to get a new lamp to be positive.
