Ok... I'm looking for a nice HDTV for my room. I have a space on my wall to hang it but I don't know what size would be best. The area I have to work with is 48" wide and height shouldn't be a problem.
I do not have a lot of money to put into this, so what I am looking for is quality for price. It doesn't have to have the best or darkest black or what ever people are picky about, just as long as it doesn't look like a blur in action. I'm planing on hooking it up to my computer and surround sound and then probably my wii or DVD player.
If it doesn't have great sound out, that is not a problem as I can manipulate the sound through my PC or Sound boxes

If people can give me some suggestions on tv's and prices that would be great.

Thanks

One way to pick out the size of your TV is to go and look at them and stand about how far away you are going to be sitting from the TV, look at the center or the TV and with out moving your eyes look and see if you can see what if going on in the corner of the TV with out moving your eyes or head, I tell people as a salesmen not to really go any bigger then a 37in for a bedroom if that is what your putting it in. and a few TVs for that will be

and that will give you some good blacks and stuff and if you dont mind going up you can get a good plasma that is a really good TV for cheep

If you shop around you can find some good prices on both those TVs If ya have another question feel free to ask

I was looking for a similar TV and ended up with this Vizio http://www.vizio.com/productDetail [...] 4&pid=1504. It looks good when I play games and watch movies, don't notice any blur really.

I had originally wanted to get a 46inch, but it was just too big for my room.

Thanks for the replies. all 3 of those TV's look pretty good. The 37 panasonic seems like something I could look into. I'm going to try to stop by a sears or best buy and look at some of the selections.

Here's a little more info, I'm going to be hanging the TV probably 4-5 feet up on the wall. The viewers are going to usually sitting on a bed or in an office chair about 10-15 feet away from the wall.

Again, thanks for the replies.
