I'd like a NAS that lets me store my purchased music and stream it to the house. It's not like it's hard to make a plain mp3 from a protected track. All this DRM-type stuff does is make it harder for those who play by the rules to enjoy what they've bought.

Right now I have to have a computer on all the time to serve music anyway, so there's no use for a dedicated NAS device. Of course, depending on the service, I either have to buy the music from that computer, or play it once physically on that computer so it aquires the license. Can't really do that on a NAS.

I want to be able to buy music from any computer in the house, store it on a NAS device in the basement, and have it playable from any computer or device in the house. Why's that so hard???
