It will do decently. the 9500gs is about as strong as an 8600gt, which can do okay in most games at 1680x1050, with setting tweaks.

the games i would be playing are CS:S, BF2 and i kind of got in to Rohan. what would happen if the processor bit is too strong for the gpu...does it just end up slowing it down?? |

No, it doesn't slow it down at all, but it's just a waste of money to have the power and never use it.

I would go for the ACER one because it has a solid screen
